Suzannah is 10 Months old!!!

I can't believe Suzannah is 10 months old. Time has passed so quickly and she is getting so big. I realize this post is a week or so late but unfortunately we were driving to WA the day she turned 10 months so I wasn't able to blog about her then.

Suzannah amazes Joe and I with her ability to learn new things so quickly. It's so funny to see her one week not being able to do something and then one day just up and figure it out. Lately her new accomplishments have been saying "mama" and "dada" ("mama" came first of course), crawling, standing up all by herself, taking a few steps on her own, clapping her hands, feeding herself and learning to communicate her needs somewhat better.

Some of her favorite things to do are reading books, rocking out to music (yes her dad taught her how to head bang), getting me to walk her everywhere she wants to go, and she actually loves to brush her teeth. Suzannah gets so excited everytime I ask her if she wants to read a book, I say "wanna read a book" and her whole face just lights up in excitement it's so cute. I'm so grateful that at such a young age she already likes reading, just like her mama. I think Joe's proudest moment was the first time she reached for his guitar. Since that moment she loves to rock out with her daddy listening to music, strumming guitar strings, banging on the drums and she loves it when he lets her play on his computer keyboard. She sure loves her daddy. I'm almost positive she is going to grow up to be a daddy's girl.

As far as food goes she loves eating what anyone will give her. Some of her favorites are green peas, pears, graham crackers oh and you can't forget the cheez-it's, she LOVES cheez-its haha. We've already made her a true Ettinger by introducing her to ice cream and she sure loves it. In fact we let her have some huckleberry milkshake on our trip to WA to celebrate her being 10 months old and I had to pull the straw away because she wanted to suck it down so fast lol. She loves eating mommy's food. Even if she just ate dinner and I think no more could fit in her little tummy, mommy and daddy sit down to eat something and she has to have it too.

You sure are fun right now Suzannah, we love you so much. You are are little entertainer and even though you can have your fussy days we would never wish for anything but having you here with us.
